Today is World Soil Day, a day on which we pay extra attention to the soil on which and from which we live. Because soil is indispensable for many agricultural activities. That is why since September all Flemish farmers can consult their soil passports for the parcels of land they use. The soil passport is an application within the E-counter for farmers and advisers in which information about the soil of their plots can be easily accessed. Thus, the soil passport can be used as a tool by farmers to make informed decisions about their soils for the benefit of soil quality.
