DjustConnect at Werktuigendagen '25 — lots of interest in data sharing

22.09.2025

The DjustConnect team had its ILVO booth at the Werktuigendagen (Working Tools Days) in Oudenaarde on September 20th and 21st. The weather was changeable, but the interest wasn't: farmers and other agricultural players actively sought discussions about data ownership, security, and concrete applications that deliver quick returns—both administratively and operationally.

What we heard

Attendees asked many questions about who owns what data, how data remains secure, and which use cases truly take the work off your hands. The event also offered direct input from users across various chains on what's still missing in terms of datasets and data suppliers—insights we'll definitely incorporate into the further development of the platform.

News since our last update

1. Enhanced DjustConnectShop

  • More data available on field information, purchase data, invoices, machine yield data, laboratory analysis reports, certificates, and precision farming application cards.
  • Broader range of data providers: government bodies, chain organizations, input suppliers, and advisory tools.
  • Coming soon: inspiring use cases (e.g., AVR machine integration with MyEasyFarm as part of the Data4Food project).

2. Technological developments

  • New connection technologies in development to maximize adoption by agricultural apps and applications.
  • Group dashboard for collective water management - manage your data with a group of farmers.

  • Practical research into data vaults within the data sharing narrative—both technical and governance-oriented.

3. Sector-wide drivers

  • Klimrek climate programs (in collaboration with Boerenbond) for dairy cattle, pigs, and potatoes—expansion to vegetables and fruit is coming soon. Digital crop protection registration mandatory from 2026 (Fytoweb API available soon; Fytolog app will be launched later this year as a simple alternative to Excel).
  • Peppol B2B invoicing mandatory from 2026. This standardization of invoicing will greatly simplify data sharing.
  • EU Data Act (from September 12, 2025) and EU regulations on carbon removal/farming: DjustConnect supports interoperability and standardization to reduce administrative burden.
